Award-Winning Harpist Stephanie Bennett has performed her compositions and arrangements in the United States, Switzerland, France, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Argentina, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, and Ecuador, including solo harp performances for the Harp Society of the Australian Capitol Territory; at the International Music Seminars in Montpelier, France; and at the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland).
The Hollywood Reporter has called Stephanie Bennett “one of our country’s top harpists”. Awards include First Prize in the Salvi International Competition of Jazz & Pop Harp.
Her solo harp recordings have provided source music on television shows including MURPHY BROWN, PARTY OF FIVE, THE SINGLE GUY, and BONES; and on the feature ﬁlm A TIME FOR DANCING. Her chamber music compositions have also been performed by ensembles such as the classical harp, ﬂute and viola trio ‘Entr’amis’ and the contemporary handbell ensemble ‘Campanile’.
Stephanie is also an active studio musician in Los Angeles. In addition to playing harp on many ﬁlm and television soundtracks, and having performed on-screen in TV shows American Idol, the Voice, Ellen, and Dancing With the Stars; she can also be heard on recordings by artists including Sir Paul McCartney, Linda Ronstadt, Josh Groban, Meatloaf, and Spongebob Squarepants. She played harp on Grammy®-winning Albums of the Year “21” by Adele and “Morning Phase” by Beck. Stephanie Bennett is a member of the Recording Academy, ASCAP, Society of Composers & Lyricists, American Harp Society, and World Harp Congress.
