Arranged by Fran McGaughey, a really beautiful and inspired arrangement of Jay Ungar’s famous waltz from TV’s Civil War Series. The way Fran has put the notes down on paper is remarkable; like no other version of this tune that I have heard. Written in the key of D, the moving right hand plays mainly arpeggiated chords. Lots of expressions marks help with interpretation. There are a few well-placed accidentals easily accomplished since the left hand is resting.
