Handel composed these tunes for Clay’s Musical Clock in London sometime between 1730 and 1740. They are excellent for developing independence of hands and clear articulation. Suite I requires no lever or pedal changes and all ornaments have been written out and fingered. The selections in Suite II are more advanced and require right and left hand imitative interplay.
