Traditional Tunes with a Twist

Verlene Schermer’s Traditional Tunes with a Twist is for solo lever or pedal harp. This collection includes thirteen traditional melodies that have been arranged with a jazzy approach (a “twist”). Schermner says, “Each arrangement begins more simply and less jazzy and then evolves into a more modern sound with jazzy chords, jazzy rhythms, or both.” Chord symbols are provided for each arrangement.
