‘Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus

This familiar hymn was originally written in 4/4 meter with a marching beat. Frank has arranged it in 3/4 time with a flowing lilt – “sweeter than before.” Although this arrangement is full of jazzy 9th and 11th chords, it is totally recognizable and will delight the audience. It contains lever changes (not difficult) and several measures of 16th note patterns (also not difficult). This hymn arrangement is perfect for any worship service, especially during communion or meditation.
