The melody of this hymn is from a beautiful American folk tune. This comforting and peaceful hymn is arranged for harp simply but beautifully. The first verse is written in the upper octaves for a quiet, calm opening. The second verse introduces some embellishments on the melody that also carry into some portions of the third verse. This calm and reflective hymn is perfect for worship services and is a joy to play.
This piece is playable on both pedal and lever harps. It is written in the key of C with no lever or pedal changes. (3 pages)
