“This collection contains seventeen melodies from the Medieval period. These melodies have been adapted from collections of plainchant and secular music, and freely harmonized. While the melodies presented are fairly true to the original, no attempt has been made to adhere to a rigid interpretation of Medieval harmony…So that the entire book can be played as a continuous “suite” of period background or recital music, the arrangements are written only in the keys of F, C, G and D (or their relative minors)…The primo harp part is designed as a complete harp arrangement so that this collection can be used for harp solo as well as harp duet…Guitar chords are included…D.
