Intermezzo on “Crimond” for Harp and Organ by Arnold Richter is based on a familiar hymn tune by Jessie Seymour Irvine (1836-1887).  Irvine’s tune, found in many hymnals, sets a paraphrase of Psalm 23, “The Lord’s My Shepherd.”  Mr. Richter wrote Intermezzo on “Crimond” to further the repertoire for harp and organ.  He has performed it to wide acceptance with harpist Duncan Stearns.  The piece is also suitable for church use as a prelude, offertory, or meditative presentation.”  Lyon & Healy Publications
