Although most often associated with the Christmas holiday season, Handel’s masterpiece Messiah was first performed around the time of the Easter holiday, so this majestic Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah may be appropriate for performance at either time. The structure of the music makes each part interesting to play and an essential contribution to the composition, creating an enjoyable challenge to play this arrangement at any time. Gretchen Monson’s ensemble arrangements include a score and separate harp parts and are available in two versions, a version for three lever harps, or a version two pedal harps and one lever harp.
