One of the most beloved pieces in the Baroque repertoire, the serene
dignity and grandeur of Pachelbel’s Canon in D make it a perfect
complement to occasions as diverse as wedding ceremonies and funerals.
This arrangement can be heard on the CD “A Beautiful Classic Wedding
Vol. 1” by Lace & Roses Music (featuring Stephanie Bennett, harp).
If you are playing for an event (such as a wedding ceremony) and find you
need to shorten or extend the music, you may jump fairly freely between the
rehearsal numbers (the measure numbers in boxes). Fingerings are
included, and all technique indications are thoroughly explained. There are
only 8 pedal changes. There are 2 pages of performance and technique
notes, and 4 pages of music. If printed out, there is only one easy page turn.
