Brian Boru’s March, a lively and well-known traditional Irish tune, is presented here in a simple and straightforward arrangement. Each harp part takes a turn playing the melody while the other harp part provides an accompaniment in a variety of rhythms and patterns. This piece is an excellent introduction to playing in an ensemble for young harpists. Fingering is provided throughout.

Harpist Jacqueline Pollauf has written a variety of works for both solo harp and harp ensemble, including original pieces, pedagogical exercises, arrangements and transcriptions. Her works have been published by Lyon and Healy Publications, Vanderbilt Music Company, and Oakway Studios, her own publishing company. A dedicated performer and teacher, Jacqueline resides in Baltimore, Maryland and is on the faculty of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She holds degrees from the Peabody Conservatory.
