American Heritage Harp, Book 1

“The harp has been used in folk music primarily in the British Isles and Latin America.  However, the wealth of American folk music has much to offer in a modern harpist’s repertoire, even though the music was probably originally played on a guitar, zither, dulcimer, banjo, fiddle, etc.  The string quality of the harp can be effective in melody and accompaniment, as a solo instrument with or without voice.  These arrangements are written on a beginner to intermediate level, and can be played as a solo, or each version can be played simultaneously as a duet.  This factor makes the collection all the more useful in your musical library.  I can assure you  that your audiences will love it when you include these familiar tunes in your next program!” L.
