Persephone is the Greek Goddess personified by vegetation which shoots forth in spring and withdraws into the earth after harvest. “Persephone Rising” is the third track on Kirsten’s album Around The Sun, taking listeners on a journey through a 365 day cycle with introspective melodies and ambient treatments. This composition is perfect for church services, weddings, background music or as a solo piece.
