This well-loved Christmas hymn is written with a gentle feel. The first and second verses have lengthened space between phrases giving a more calm quality. The third verse is more grandiose with rolled chords and beautiful descending arpeggios in the chorus. This piece is a must-have for a harpist’s Christmas repertoire.
This piece is playable on both pedal and lever harps. It is written in the key of G with no lever or pedal changes. (3 pages)
