“This book is a collection of themes and excerpts selected from the classical repertoire. Many of them will be familiar to you. They are all playable on lever and pedal harps. Many are appropriate to play in church or for weddings. Some of the pieces that are especially effective for processionals include, St. Anthony Chorale, Largo from New World Symphony, Dance of the Spirits, Jupiter from The Planets, and Voluntary by Stanley. The last two are my personal favorites. Ode to Joy makes a good recessional and Meditation from Thais and Choral by Schumann are good selections for reflective moments. Whether you play the harp as an amateur or professional, harp student or teacher, it is my hope that you will enjoy this book for many years to come.” Deborah Friou
