This variation of Pachelbel’s Canon in D is for the double strung harp. Arranged in the key of C major,it reduces the number of levers that the key of D would require. There are no lever changes in this piece. Tones are C3 – C7 (although you could adapt it to go only to G6). The chords for the repetitive harmonic phrase is given. The top staff is to be played on the right side strings, the bottom staff is to be played on the left side strings. The melody changes from top to bottom staff near the end of the piece as designated by the ———- dashedline. The bottom staff clef changes from treble to bass and then back to treble.
